For over fifty years Blue Mountain Credit Union has played an important part in helping our members manage their finances. In spite of the financial challenges that linger in our economy, it is important for you to know that your money is safe at Blue Mountain Credit Union. Our financial position remains strong. Capital is over 12%. Regulatory standards consider anything over 7% well capitalized. Also, share balances up to $250,000 are federally insured by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF). The NCUSIF is administered by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the federal government similar to the FDIC.
